Initial Consultation
Every project starts by filling out our a Client Application. Once submitted, you'll be asked to schedule a 30-minute introduction call. We'll chat, using whatever platform you prefer, so I can learn more about your vision and how I can help.
Once we've determined whether we're a good fit, you'll be sent a custom proposal that includes our contract and invoice. Just sign the contract, make your deposit and we'll be on our way to creating your dream website!

Develop Your Aesthetic
Depending on whether you already have branding or whether we're creating it for you, we'll outline your colour palette, favourite fonts, and design style. We'll setup a Pinterest board and you'll pin your favourite designs that represent the look you're going for.
Our process relys heavily on the strategy behind building a website, so we'll develop a layout that encompasses your aesthetic as well as the best user experience for your clients. You'll be provided with a mockup of your new site before development begins.
02.
how it works
Gather Materials
While we're working on the aesthetic of your website you'll be gathering your website copy and photos. Some of our clients choose to work with a copywriter before working with us, but even if you're writing your own copy we're happy to make suggestions.
If you're in need of a copywriter or brand photographer then we're happy to connect you with one. By the time we start the first stage of the design mockups you should have your copy and images ready to be put into the design.

how it works
Development
Once you've approved the design of your new site we'll start development! We'll implement the design in the platform of your choice and create any transitions, animations or custom code that is needed to build your completely custom site.
We'll review the first draft together and by the end of the first phase you'll give any revisions you want us to implement. We'll make any adjustments and put together a few social launch graphics so that you can show your new site off in style!
04.
how it works
Final Delivery
Voila! You're website is complete and will be transfered to your account. We'll connect and setup your domain and schedule a final walkthrough to make sure every detail is in place to ensure you can manage and edit your website in the future.
You'll be able to launch your website and receive support from us for anything you're unsure of. You can also sign up for website management at a discounted price, where we can make edits and changes to your site in the future.

what website platform do you use?
We're pretty versatile here at Motif Design Studio. But there's one platform we love over the rest, and that's Showit!
Showit allows us complete creative freedom (if you can imagine it we can probably create it, it's that good), it's an easy drag and drop interface that you'll be able to use long after we're done designing your site. Plus they have amazing customer service and an integrated Wordpress blog for the best in blogging capabilities.
After I started developing websites with Showit, I never turned back. Having designed on many other platforms, I found that my clients were struggling to navigate the technical and clunky interfaces of other builders and I wasn't able to create the same level of designs that I can with Showit.
Do you offer payment plans?
Absolutely! We totally understand as a business owner that investing in our business and it's growth can be difficult. We offer payment plans to make these larger investments more manageable.
We offer payment plans of 2-8 equal monthly payments, the higher your total investment, the higher the number of monthly installments you're eligible for. Plus, no interest is added to your total just because you choose a payment plan. Want to know the best news? We'll launch your new webiste when your designs are complete, regardless of whether you've finished your payment plan!

Do you offer Showit Template Customisation?
Yes! We offer Showit template customisation in two packages.
If you're looking to just add your fonts, images and content to a template you've purchased, then our Showit Template Setup + Launch package is for you and is £2000. We'll add all your content and make sure your template is mobile responsive in just one week.
If you're looking to completely customise a template you've purchased, making it more your own then our Showit Template Customisation package is what you're looking for. We'll customise the design and layout of your template to fit your specific needs and offerings for £3000, you'll have a fully functioning website in just 2-3 weeks.
What do i need to have ready to begin?
In order to start the website design process, we'll need all of the different elements from the start. This will allow the process to move more smoothly and lets us create and launch your website in the desired timeframe.
We'll need all of your photos and videos including all branding assets and files. All written content must be ready by the time we start the mockup phase. You must also have completed our design questionnaire and have put together your style board on Pinterest before we can start creating your designs.
Will i be able to update my own site?
Of course! Every one of our website design clients also receives a walkthrough of their new site to show you the basics of the platform, the most common things you'll likely want to do and a walkthrough of Wordpress so you can hit the ground running with your new blog.
If you don't have time to update your site on your own, or want to add more pages to your site then let us know! We'll make sure to save some time for your edits and site additions.
